Camekan, the four week guest designer program, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, with the support of the EU's Common Cultural Heritage: Preservation and Dialogue between Turkey and the EU-II and in partnership with Karlsruhe University of Art and Design, was held between January 31 and February 28 2021.

The program, which aims to pave the way for intercultural exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue, was attended by four young designers from different cities in Turkey and Europe. The multidisciplinary works that emerged at the end of the program were exhibited at Barın Han, which hosted the designers for a month and provided studio space for their work. The diary, which describes the program process in more detail through the eyes of the participants and mentors, can be accessed on the Istanbul Design Biennial website.
