Hybrid Spaces, the current exhibition on display at Borusan Contemporary opens up a discussion on the concept of museum and contemporary art in light of perspectives centered on architecture. The event series titled “So What Do Architects Think?” organized within the scope of Hybrid Spaces examines how creative architects establish connections between contemporary art and their own productions.
The second session of the “So What Do Architects Think?” event series examined how architects’ dialogues with artists develop in their decisions regarding the relationship between artistic content and space, and how the perspectives of artists and architects intertwine.
The second session, where the necessity of creating a fluid, hybrid and new visual language in the context of architecture and contemporary art will be addressed, will feature Eren Çıracı, Han Tümertekin and Oral Göktaş, who are known for their projects in the field of architectural design on an international scale.
The event, moderated by Dr. Emin Mahir Balcıoğlu and Dr. Necmi Sönmez, curator of the Hybrid Spaces exhibition, was held on Saturday, December 17 at Perili Köşk.
